Cleveland people are so funny. Must be our Lake Erie water. Maybe the govt is putting in LSD for an experiment.

CL is full of ads posted by people who believe themselves to be too clever by far. Either a few too many beers or they've just finished another Creative Writing course at the community college.
Around here the ads all read "Bike 4 Sale" and the included picture is that of a Magna. The only imaginative part is that of the poster thinking someone will actually want to buy their bike.

There was a Shogun bike that someone listed on CL in Cleveland over and over again with a severely inflated price and description to match. IIRC it was a very nice Shogun and appeared to be in excellent shape, but the guy was convinced it was a grail bike of some kind and wanted maybe $1500 for it. So that's been kind of a running joke there; it's turned up in the 'Wacky World' thread several times.

Flag him, even without the ridiculous price, the last sentence violates C/L policy: "Let the bidding begin".

OP, there's a thread for these posts: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vintage/530402-wacky-world-craigslist-ebay-ads.html Someone posting something crazy on Craigslist doesn't really warrant creating a brand new thread...

I love that it is the same damn Shogun the gurgles to the top every so often and gets listed on the Cleveland CL. Then the slew of people posting things that rip into the ad ---- It really is something best left ignored.
