Very nice. Those hubs look awesome on that bike. Very tasteful build...

Kudos to your buddy Steven

Steven is an excellent man!

This is Stefano, who, along with Steven, is why i have my Marnati.

That bike is a vision. it's simple, classic, distinguished and effective as heck. I love every single part of this bike, from the headbadge to the lugs to the component choices.

I like the hubs, and seem to remember those!

Can't say I'm crazy about the stem, but I am crazy about the frameset and the build.

What is it about Marnati frames that lend themselves such a C&V look, even with oversize tubing and modern components? I still can't put my finger on it.

Enjoy it!

-Kurt

I've seen two kinds of Marnatis...those that are spectacular, and those that are more spectacular. Most fall into the second category. I'm currently in negotiations for a fairly beat up one in Florida...the problem is that as nice as it is, the paint restoration would cost several hundred dollars, and it might make more sense to just get a new one.

I am not at liberty to discuss specific pricing, but Master Marnati is quite reasonable, and if you're thinking about a custom I think it would behoove you to give him a call. You've all seen enough of his work to understand his substantial talents.

Very nice Stefano.

Cool saddle. Looks a bit like the Concorde pre-flight.

Beautiful, Stefano.

(Stefano sold me my Marastoni, and without my asking him to do so, substituted some period-correct parts for the ones originally on the bike. Mr. Marastoni can be seen holding the bike on the CR Marastoni page.)
