Downtube cable stop for single braze-on on top of tube?

Can anyone tell me where to find a pair of downtube cable stops that attach to a single braze-on on top of the downtube?

I'm planning to install bar end shifters on my Nishiki Rivera GT. It presently has Suntour downtube shifters attached as a single unit to the top of the downtube, which means only a single braze-on. (As shown in the attached pictures of my blue Nishiki's shifters and braze-on.) The bar-end shifters (https://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...+Shifters.aspx) come with two cable stops, designed to attach to the separate braze-ons that would be used for side-mounted downtube shifters. (Like those on the red bike in the attached picture.)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

just use the previous center mount and swap out the shift levers for traditional downtube cable stops, it might look a little bulky, but it would get the job done.

there was a post about that ..... maybe in the Ebay/craigslist thread. Suntour actually made a dealio for that. I believe the one on ebay sold for $45 or so.

personally I think those shifters are pretty cool with the self trim for the FD.

if worse comse to worse just put a small screw in the boss and use one of these.

Like the previous post, I did this on my bike. I needed to use longer bolts than those that came with the hardware (the tension was too great). It may look a bit bulky, but it worked. To use a clamp would still leave the braze on.

There was a cable stop made for the symmetric boss. Good luck finding one, though.

Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions. I'll replace the levers with the cable stops for now, and keep my eyes open for the special cable stop.

One nice thing about the cable stops I posted above (Dura Ace) is that you can use them to adjust cable tension.
