Box has landed, however.. it's full of crap this time. I'm going to be taking a bit to go through things to replace most of the junk in it... again.

Take your time on sending it out - I know you want to add some decals for everyone. I'm in no hurry

I've also got some bits specifically for you, I had been thinking others were doing the same but I guess not. >.> There is something in there I think intended for you but I suspect it's way too small, we can discuss that in PM's though.

^ Aw, you don't have to do that Chris - although the sentiment is appreciated! And I'm intrigued as to what the "intended for you but I suspect it's way too small" might be. Can't be a freewheel since in my book there's no such thing as a too small one of those when it comes to this guy

Don't put yourself out too much. Scozim is visiting Friday and I'll be passing along some stuff to him (free swag) as I'm getting more into paring down my stuff vice adding to it. I just wanted to get back into the BOC rotation for the hell of it now that I'm back in CONUS!

Done. As far as cat-herding goes, well, I've had a ton of help from RS over the past year; couldn't have kept up without him

Checking in, on Monday I had a wreck and am still laid up. Nothing too serious, no broken bones, nerve damage etc, but I am pretty useless. I'll check back in when moving the BoC looks viable again.

Yikes! Well, scratch Raleigh Technium off your list of bikes... I've not seen a steel frame snap like that. Think it was the hardened 753 tubing? Glad you're OK. When people ask, just say, "You should see the other guy!"

753's fairly in tact, the socketed lugs/20+year old epoxy that joined it together is not.

Hmmm, I'd been looking at one of those a few years ago, but the epoxied lugs scared me off a bit. Good to know. I take it you have no desire to try re-gluing it back together?

None whatsoever, and plans to warn off anyone who desires one. Truth be told, my greed for a "better steel" is the only reason I owned that bike...

Just so we're clear - did the catastrophic frame failure happen at the time of the crash, or did it cause the crash?

Caused the crash, if you'd like the details of my boneheadery please refer to my "Dream Bike" thread. I'll be adding more pics in it today of the actual frame breaks.

I thought the lock in the spokes caused the crash and the frame separation was the result?

Damn, dude - that sucks losing the Technium that way and of course the resulting trauma to yourself, well, that sucks, too! Take your time with the box - nobody here's howling. Plus there's ample proof you've got bigger fish to fry from those pics

I hope you feel better real soon, Chris. Put your feet up and get some rest, friend
