I don't even want to think of how many cool old bells I've been ripped from. For years, nobody really cared about them as a collectable so at the time, it wasn't as much about monetary. But now, some ringers are going for the price of a bike!

So can someone leave/place some pedal reflectors in the box? Surely someone has those sitting in their pile of crap.

We're only at about 10 days, and Dwellman seems like a good bloke. We all know life can be hectic at times too. I've acquired other means to reach him by, just hoping it doesn't come to anything drastic (or hope that nothing bad has happened there)

You seem rather anxious, er excited for the BOC. If you need them now, could send you all sorts of pedal reflectors for just the postage.

My unsolicited advice for those who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the BOC:

Enjoy the anticipation! Actually opening the box, and viewing its contents, is anticlimactic.

Nah, they're not worth even the cost of postage for me. I figure though, since it's already coming to me, someone can throw 'em in.

I'm mostly just bored at work and wondered what the heck was happening.

True. Last time the box came my way I was rather, underwhelmed. I definitely did not get $15 worth of parts. Having said that though, this whole thing is fun. Watching the box go around the country while a bunch of bike nerds try and find useful "crap".

I didn't see any, so get crackin', son.

Here's my haul: the dork disc had to stay because I am a dork, the turkey levers because Thanksgiving is just around the corner. The cable running doohickeys will go on my next conversion to barcons which will probably be sooner than later, since I've got a couple pairs on hand now. The hub feels a bit crunchy, but if nothing else I need an axle in that length.

No shot of the box (on it's 14th use!) riding to the post office. All my outgoing mail I just leave by the mail basket by the front door and the guy comes around and picks it up. Easier for me that way.

I continued my tradition of adding freewheels to the crap and a few other smaller bits. As usual, there's some stuff that's in there that's probably more crappy than anyone would actually use, so for those crap-adders down the line, feel free to just throw away some of the utter crap in there if you need to make room for better kinds of crap. The crap-recievers downline will thank you for it!
