Yes, that looks delicous, Paul. I'm still curious as to what the green vegetable is in the miso soup that is cut on the bias. You answered spinach previously, but you must have been referring to something else.
I wanted wings yesterday, so wings I made and wings I ate.

The uitsmijters and beer were great (I just joined the afterparty), but somehow I don't think you have a reason to be jealous. That looks very tasty! I've never seen such a barracuda before. You get them from your local fishmonger?

My wife got them at a stall at the market. They have more variety than the lcoal fishmonger.

I made this stromboli-ish thing this morning. This is the re-heated version of it. It tastes just like a cheeseburger.

Yes it is.
I made these yesterday. They are no-bake bars made with quinoa, oats, flax and sesame seeds, coconut, cocoa, coconut butter, creamed honey and vanilla.

Again, I got all of these recipes from this website: https://www.sugarfreemom.com. I have really liked all of the recipes that I have tried. Credit where credit is due!

I returned this weekend, but while on tour I ate some pretty great food
Fried Chicken & some NEHI Peach Soda
much of our travels were through agricultural central Florida, which has a large population of migrant Mexican workers, and man do they know how to eat!
The BEST Chile Rellenos I've ever had
After riding in the rain for 4 hours, this hot pressed Cuban Sandwich was phenomenal:
So good in fact, I took one to go and ate it later that same day (not hot pressed though)
Tamales at a gas station? why not
This Taco Bus cook didn't speak a lick of English, so... "dos tacos por favor"
you should have seen the look on his face when my vegetarian friend ordered "dos tacos, no carne...frijoles por favor"

Great stuff, guys!
Way to work and experiment, Matt.
Tamales and light beer is excellent fuel for continuing a long ride. I downed a lot of peach Nehi as a kid. Looks like they've changed the label to something more nostalgic.

Saumon tonight at casa italuminia! Got a nice week of "quality time" with my dad, good beers, hard work (we're both writing papers atm) and great food. I even got a ride in today, the climbing here is great. Next up: brewery visit to the Abbaye Val-Dieu, with pics of beer and cheese

It's a "Miami" style Cuban Sandwich, which is Cuban bread, mayo, mustard, dill pickle slices, Swiss cheese, sliced roast pork, , glazed ham, and mojo marinated pulled pork.
The sandwich actually originated in Ybor City, Tampa FL and the original version uses Genoa salami instead of the mojo marinated pulled pork.
I have to say, i prefer the Miami style (the one pictured above)

I have to work late this time of year so I prepare stuff ahead of time that freezes well so we can have dinner before 10p. Tonight was curried cauliflower soup to which I added some bacon and asparagus.

cobrabyte, those food pictures look really good, especially the last one. I'll have to check you flickr stream for tour images.

Mmmm, bacon. Lunch yesterday (it's just past midnite here) was teriyaki pork ribs, from Uwajimaya's. I bought enough for a late-night snack/sammich too. (burp) Excuse me.

How about a goat's cheese & green onion quiche? Don't worry, I'm a "real" man, LOL, but it was just looking too good to pass up, so I didn't. I got it at the organic food place near me, where I get most of my coffee. Today I got some Nicaraguan, and the reviews look pretty good.
