Wheel Color??
Maybe I phrased this wrong. As I assemble the items for my first buil up,Serotta Colorado ll, I am wondering about the wheelset? I know there are all different $ level but I see there are all silver , all black , combination.
So what would look "best" on this bike. The color of the frame is blue.
Thanks for all the help!

Keep it classy: silver rims, silver hubs, silver spokes. Black shows dirt, and black anodizing tends to get sun-bleached and/or worn off the rim sidewalls.
If you want to get goofy, lace 'em with blue spokes: https://store.somafab.com/socosp.html

What is your intended usage and weight? Alloy usually looks best, or grey anodized. Mavic open pros are the standard, but there are other good rims as well.

Over the long run a silver rim will keep it's looks better than most anodized rims used with rim brakes. Here's couple of photos of the same blue bike with silver (Mavic CXP10) and dark gray (Mavic Open Pro CD) rims that may help you.

In general I prefer silver rims but the combination of anodized tri-color 600 Ultegra components with grey anodized Mavic rims looks good in my opinion as well. I'm mostly not bothered by the bit of wear you see on these anodized rims.

I went with silver Mavic Reflex rims with silver Campy hubs for my 90'ish Barecci, and it has some blue in it. I think silver is richer looking.
Here's a pic of her and the rims before completion. (She is now complete(), but I don't have pics yet) -

classic builds are 98% silver, there ware few sets of gold and black-all of which get sun faded and then look tired.
