Schwinn Continental - bargain price?
https://raleigh.craigslist.org/bik/3455489305.html
And to think that one sold on Ebay (same rare color, too) for $25. Many more (same "rare" color) did not sell for prices less than $100. I reckon that it doesn't hurt to fish. Who do you think appraised this thing for $1650?
My head is spinning.

Besides the insane price, it's most likely a '71-'75 model as those were the only years the Continental was available in Kool Lemon.

Let's say it is a '67 Continental that went from the Schwinn store into home storage. What makes it worth that much? I love Schwinn EF lightweights. Wish I could collect them all. I'd pay $350-$400, about the cost of doing a nice restoration on an average condition one. And what idiot tries to sell a bike for $1,200 without a picture?
Appraisals aren't worth much more than the paper they're printed on, or the electrons to email them.
