Absolutely! Check out his site for some of his work: https://www.chriskvalecycles.com. I'd love to have one of his frames - maybe someday. I can say his paint work is top notch, and he's a great guy to work with.

Pretty bike. I like 700s. Used to have a nice one and sold it to 23skidoo.

He built it up into a very special bicycle.

The Kvale connection on this one is a bonus.

Got that right.

I have three of them and I feel like I won the lottery every time I ride two of them.

I sure wish my third Kvale frameset fit me, but it's fun to see it on the wall in my new bike room I am building.

This frame Grady speaks of is extremely hot. Odd size, but hot.

Yep, definitely sized for the longer torso'd rider.

Not me unfortunately.

When I find the individual that's looking for this sizing, they are going to get a very nice frameset.

The detailing and finishing work is really top shelf.

Picked up this 1978 Grand Jublie, rotted tires, didn't have any 27" so borrowed the red ones from a friend until I can order some. The frame does have some red on it, the st sticker and the ht badge; the red, champagne/silver and black look pretty good together. No new bar tape is planned as it has the original fake leather on it. This is not a keeper, I'll be selling it shortly. So are the red tires hot......or not?

^ The red tires, especially, but also the severe angle of the drops, and that saddle...Sorry, I've got to vote Not Hot.

I love the saddle and the tape, but don't think they work well with this bike. Maybe it's the brown tape with black shifters I don't like? Not sure, but the brown-on-brown looks HOT on Poprad's Vanilla. The black shifters need to go either way. Convert some alloy 9s Record or find 10s alloy Chorus or Centaur. That's really nitpicking though, she's a stunner and a grail bike.

I'm with you on the aesthetics...I tried finding brown hoods and wasn't sure if the ones I saw would fit (they were aimed 11sp and the body changed). I don't mind the carbon blades and want to keep the gruppo uniform. I do agree the alloy look better. In a perfect world of aesthetics it would have a quill stem, brown hoods and alloy blades.
