Bikes: 2010 Torker T-300, with drop bars. A vintage lugged Mercier 12 speed. A repainted, rebuilt 1986 Raleigh Pursuit road bike. 1988 Panasonic DX3000 is my fave new ride

1970 British cycle movie?

I just came across this movie surfing Youtube in a random way. It's a movie called And Soon the Darkness. The story begins in 1970 with two British women on cycle tour in France. Delightfully evocative of its time. I had never seen or heard of it before. I only watched the first 15 minutes, I'll have to finish when I'm less sleepy. Posting the link now before I forget.

Thanks for posting Aristotle80 - great atmospheric piece! I enjoyed watching it. The BSA Bermuda 3 speeds both girls were touring on were once quite popular ladies bikes over here - loved the Remploy panniers on Jane's bike. Lots of interesting road bikes in the background during the restaurant forecourt scenes.
