Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

*creeeaaaaaakkkkk*

I just made something interesting but healthy.

- 1 pound of turkey meat
- big piece of diced ginger
- some garlic
- can of yer favorite beans
- water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, Asian vegtables with those mini corns
- can of corn
- package of frozen veggies (I threw in some fresh broccoli)
- noodles. I got a package of thick barley noodles from a Japanese market, precooked but frozen. Could use barley or brown rice too.

Cook and season the meat, ginger, garlic to taste in a cast iron skillet (or cooking thing of your choice). Start throwing in everything else except the noodles - those throw in boiling water for a minute to heat up, dump the water and throw the noodles back in the pot. When everything's cooked together throw it in the pot with the noodles and mix. You could eat it like that OR get some low fat whole wheat wraps and make burrito type things out of them.

Here is a new one that I've been cooking.

5-6 cans of beans (I usually use 2 cans of Great Northwest, 2-3 cans of Pinto and 1 can of Black)
1 chicken breast (substitute for tofu or something of your choice)
4 bell peppers copped (I use mixed colors)
1 medium onion copped
1 Large package of sliced mushrooms.
2 tbls molasses
4 tbls honey (more if you like it sweet)
Seasoning of your choice (I use some garlic and crushed red pepper and a dab of habanera sauce)

Cook the chicken up by itself, then chop. Bring the beans to a boil and add everything else(veggies raw) and cook for half hour or so till the veggies are cooked. I usually add the cooked chicken in about half way through.

Nope, it thickens up to the consistency of stew when you add all the ingredients. The first time I made it I thought it wouldn't taste all that great. I was wrong. MY wife, who normally hates stuff like this, loves it and now the lady at her office are loving it. You could add water and make it a soup if you wanted.

i do chicken and brown rice...
two cups water.
one cup rice
one chicken bullion cube
splash tomato sauce for color
whatever veggies you like
one boneless skinless roast chicken breast.

Boil two cups. Dice whatever green vegetables that are neutral in taste, and add in with rice. Don't forget the bullion cube. Dismember the chicken however you like, I prefer the texture of it being finger-shredded. Allow to boil together until moisture absorbed. Then, fluff and make sure all the stuff added in is even distributed. Quick, easy, portable, and will be good all day if you carry it to work.

My awesomely stinky but fantastic tuna recipe:

One can tuna
garlic powder
diced onion or apple
Nayonnaise (soy mayo - looks watery but tastes just like mayo, the fat free tastes best, IMHO)

Take a can of tuna and drain it, scoop it into a bowl. Take two or three healthy scoops of Nayonnaise, and slop it on top. Garlic powder to taste (real strong) and either onion or apple if you want a little bite or a little sweet. Sitr well, smear on bread, take plenty of Altoids.
