OK _-Time to lose more weight. I have been having some bad weeks - eating a burrito..... (1000+ calories) or binging on candy late at work and no rides last week or exercise due to my cold. So this week - I am not sure aboiut the exercise, but with me I have a problem with food - and exercise is always just a help - but it's what I stick in my mouth that is my real issue.
So here are my goals for the week - I could use support - so here I am posting for all the world to see! Let's do it!
WATER - Have to get back into drinking a ton of water
SUBWAY - OK s many chicken subs for dinner as possible.
SALAD - Portions - Be reasonable no need to over do
POSITIVITY - Stay upbeat!
RIDE - Next week - Athens Metric Gambler Century perhpas or find another 65 miler. Or if not do a few smaller rides
OK Have a good week y'all!

Massive week on week weight fluctuation continues. Weighing in today at 214.6. Hoping to shed two pounds this week. Hit one century last week. Planning to go to boot camp 4x this week, ride a minimum of 200 miles. No long rides though.

I was UP 1.4 pounds on Saturday. I'm now at 271.4, but still down 38.6 pounds for the year. Hope to lose the gain plus another pounds this week.
I started my long distance riding training and did 30 miles on both Saturday and Sunday. Felt really good on and after both rides. Felt like I could have rode for another hour if needed. I've been focusing on my cadence only and WOW does it make a difference. Next training ride is on Wednesday, a 40 miler. Hope to do it in just over 2.5 hours. Lots of hills where I'm going!

After high weight loss last week current weight is 285lbs. Goal for this week is to try for 3-5 lbs of loss (lot more healthy that 10 of last week). Also try get a ride in although this week is lining up as a suck week. College is finishing and I have crap load to do this week (I want to ride though *LOL*)

I just want to ride more this week. I didn't ride enough last week, less than 100 miles. That said, I'm already just 6miles shy of 2000 on the year.

I was on a mini vacation end of last week and thought that my weight might be up. Wrong. Still managed to lose my one pound. Now at 195. Was in DC with my son checking out all the sights and I guess all the walking around helped me out.
This week the goal is get back on the bike since I missed 4 days worth of riding while away, and lose another pound.

Hiking trails in our local mountains are just opening up (I am in Utah).
Goals:
Distance:
Cycle: Work my weight up from 7 miles daily to 10 miles daily, for a total of 60 miles
Walk: 5 miles
Hike: 2 miles
Calories Burned via Exercise: 7000 (avg 1000 / day)
Daily Calorie Deficit: 1800

floating around 261... had a busted tire and was sick, so didnt get much riding done... did manage to go on a 39 mile ride this past weekend (the furthest i've ever ridden , usually only do 20 to 25) and feeling good and ready for even more
goals:
1) go to the core & interval classes at the gym at my university (pretty cool that they have this, and it doesnt cost me any more than the tuition i already pay )
2) hydrate, and hydrate often (probably the only bad part about my last ride; my 100oz camelbak and my two 24oz bottles were nearly empty by mile 35... so, i may need to address this )
3) try a longer ride, maybe 45 or 60 miles
4) try to eat at home more often

Still under 94 kg this week...
93.6kg/206lb
Not bad considering I ate a whole pizza yesterday (and it was SOOOO good!).
Had a good ride this morning and a gym session tonight. Aim to keep working consistently this week and start to look at being closer to 93kg even next week.

Knowledge is the key! You know your weight (too damn scary for some folks!) and have a great plan in place. WTG KRTX!
I would suggest that you alternate biking and hiking since you are walking daily. And don't be afraid of taking a day off if you feel like you need it. Over doing it is very common and we need to listen to our bodies.
Write down what you eat and then try to eat only 2000-2100 calories OF GOOD FOOD a day to start out. Get in your veggies, dairy, lean protein, and complex carbs. Don't forget a couple of teaspoons of quality oils as well. Cut about 50-75 calories for every ten pounds of weight loss, and you will get to where you want to be!
Good Luck!
Jerry

I've not checked into this thread in a while.
Today I am 265, +1 lbs from where I started for the year. I'd be more distressed if it weren't for the fact I'm also wearing jeans with 4 inches smaller waist than I started this year (42 -> 38), and in another month or so I might go down to 36. Having to buy a new belt after going to the smallest loop on my current is a good feeling.
I just wish the pounds would go away along with the inches; it'd be a lot less distressing than watching my weight fluctuate up and down within a +/-5lb range for the past 4 months, only to end up at the same place.

I haven't checked in for a while.
285, + 3 from my weight 2-3 weeks ago, but down since my first weigh-in.
but as Crast posts, my measurements have changed. Belt is on some new holes it hasn't seen for a while.

Riding goals now unattainable. Monday's ride called on account of weather. Yesterday's ride interrupted by dumb**** ramming my friend while trying to pass someone around a blind corner at serious speed. Dumb**** broke my friend's bike (sheared fork), and messed up my friend's ankle days before a marathon. GRRRRRrrrRRRrrrRRr. Also, weight goals appearing unlikely. Despite 40 miles so far this week, and massive caloric deficits according to calorie counter (I wasn't striving for them, just wasn't hungry), I've gone up 1 pound so far (1.5 from Sunday).

I'm down to 226lbs from 245 at the start of the year! Looking to get down to 190 or so.
