I just turned 54. 6'2" 230#. I like the long stuff, so I split my time among Long Distance, Clydes and 50+. I inherited my father's gadget gene so I'm in Electronics Lighting and Gadgets some, too.

My girlfriend and I test rode a C'dale tandem a couple weeks ago...soooo...

Almost forgot. My other passion is guitars, playing them and building them. There is a whole other world of guitar and luthier forums out there, too.

50+ clyde, commuter, vintage bike owner, Cyclocross bike owner, Long Distance rider who also visits with Roadies and touring riders.

It's all good.

I'm not 50+ (45) so I've not actually been to the 50+ area, but I'm also no longer 200+ (as I was when I started out a couple months ago), but this place just feels comfy to me so I spend most of my time browsing around here.

Another 50+ Athena. Also check out commuting and classic & vintage. Not because I collect, but because the bikes I've accumulated have aged with me.

Just curious, and an obvious question, most seem hard core cyclists. IS cycling your Main Activity?

I love cycling, but would list it behind tennis, golf and boating? Probably why I don't have near the miles or distance as most of you.

I turn 50 in September. I'm a clyde, I commute daily, I ride and race with roadies, I toodle down MUPs on my SS/FG, I tour, I use my bike for going shopping and running errands, I chop down trees, wear high heels, suspenders and a bra. My home forum is Bike Forums....all of them.

52 y/o clyde that commutes by C/V (and sometimes by mountain bike) here. While I check many of the forums upon logging in, C&A is the FIRST one I check out every time. Nice folkses up in here, every day, all day and night.

I'm primarily an open-water swimmer. I was a bike racer in another lifetime, one of those weird "trackies". (Not to be confused with "Trekkies")

Can we merge the Clyde Forum with the boards at the National Scoliosis Foundation? Or is that too much of a curve for you folks?
