Hello everyone...

I used to visit this site and this area all the time a few years ago. Then I started to have medical issues and I couldn't ride, or do much of anything. So not being able to do much I sat around and put on weight. I would have posted here, but it made me depressed when I saw what others could do and well I couldn't do half of what they did. I couldn't even ride 3 miles before feeling like passing out. Now after 2 years and surgery I feel like the heavens have parted and I am in heaven again because I can ride. I've done light training so far, mainly on the trainer but have gone out for a handful of rides. So far so good and just yesterday I did a 26 mile solo ride... It felt great!!! Now my goal is to lose 40 plus pounds and be close to 200 pounds. Since I started eating right and riding (last month with the eating) I've dropped 10 pounds so far.
Well I wish you all well in any and all endeavors you undertake. Peace

Welcome back - I saw a ride of yours pop up this week, I figured it was just the weather finally improving. Glad to hear you're back at it!
