Giving up on trying to achieve anything this month. The cold that stopped me for 10 days in January has just gotten worse and I had to get checked in hospital, then twisted my ankle Sunday night.

Up to 80 miles already. Not sure what I'll end up doing. Depends on the weather, but I figure a good 150-200 at least.

Living in Canada kinda limits setting goal in the winter but I managed 175km this month the most I've ever done in February.

Sick of waiting for it to get warmer so went out anyway. Winds meant after two miles I couldn't feel my hands. So I didn't go as far as I wanted but got a few in there...

When I get home from work tonight I'll be at 85 miles. Depending on the weather I *should* be able to get at least 200. If the weather holds, 300 is possible.

Bitterly cold today but went out with a friend anyway... used to ride a lot with him but he's gotten out of cycling, gained a chunk of weight and lost some of his fitness. He bailed part way through because he was struggling with fitness and the cold was sapping what little strength he had left so took the train back home. I finished the ride just for the sheer heck of it.

Did a 11 mile run today, so the monthly running total for the month is 36.6 miles. I hope to add some bike time to the running this week, maybe a commute and a mountain bike ride if everything works out
