11/03 102.2 miles at the Spoonbills and Sprockets Century out of Marineland, Florida.
To say it was rather breezy would be a bit of an understatement......

After the weekend I'm at 37.8 miles for the month. My good ride so far was yesterday's ride of just over 30.

11/4 ride was a short ride to the grocery store to get some bread lol...

11/5 ride talked with 10 wheels here on FB who took me out for a nice ride today... furthest I've gone in recent history, was a nice slow pace, could have prob done another 10 miles without prob.... had 1 flat on the ride but was a quick easy change... thanks 10wheels for the nice ride.

me after changing a flat (rolling up the old tube so I can patch it when I get home)... so much easier with a good pump and a rim that doesn't hold onto the bead for dear life like my tubless ready rim on the trucker

Drizzle! Wind! Clouds! 48*F! Oh boy, let's go for a RIDE!!

It wasn't as bad as it sounds; I felt like I was going to freeze to death for the first 6 or 7 miles, but then it didn't seem quite so chilly. I managed to get in 20.25 miles today. Winter coming on is making things a little less fun than during the (short) summer.

Goal: 250 miles
MTD: 47.35 miles

Sitting at 79.5 for the month. I'm afraid the weather may become a factor this month but I did do 16 yesterday with temps in the mid 30s in the rain with a 10-15 mph wind without the least bit of discomfort.

Not a nice day here, rain, rain and more rain. I rode the rollers for a while, actually for the longest time/distance I've ever done, 19 miles. I would much rather do the miles outside where it's scenic, but there isn't much choice when it's so nasty out. I count roller miles the same as road miles and some people have trouble with that. If so, sue me, I don't care! Roller (and trainer) miles are boring, but DO get the heart rate up and help us keep a better level of fitness than looking out the window and pouting. I'm hoping for better weather tomorrow!

quick little 20 mile road ride on the road bike... only being about 15 miles from 100 for the first week of the month I wanted to "overdo it" a little... at this rate I should be able to push on to 300 miles this month without to much issue... but it is november so we'll see how weather holds out, and I'll be out of town for a long weekend with no bike

before the ride I rotated the bars slightly to bring the hoods up... amazing how such a small change can make such a nice big difference the more I ride this bike the more and more I like it... although I am a bit worried about going back to the trucker and hating it doh...

11/2: 1 Mile - A little chilly (50-ish degrees) and very windy today, but I still went on a short and unofficial (no bike computer, no helmet, and in jeans and a sweatshirt) ride today.
11/7: 3.5 Miles. Another ride in the cold, wearing jeans and a sweatshirt. May have to glue my gloves to my hands so I'll stop forgetting them. I noticed the clouds above starting to get dark soon after I rode off so I didn't want to press my luck and extend the distance any further.

MTD: 4.5 Mile (Goal: 100 miles)
YTD: 1210.7 Miles (Goal: 1,000 miles - Accomplished back in September)

This weekend looks to be damp and chilly, so I don't see fitting in another ride until next week unfortunately. As winter gets closer, I lose the motivation to ride.

I was super busy this morning and tired when I got home, but the sun shined through the overcast sky and I HAD to ride! I was glad to get in another ride before the weather gets crummy. So, I got in 15.5 miles today and it was GREAT!
