My goal this month is to see the 230's on my Sat AM weigh-in. Currently at dead even 240lbs from 243 on 9/1.

I was in the high 250's on 4th of July. I'm finally on the right track.

Yesterday's commute brings my mileage up to 230 for the month. Raced Wednesday night again with the fast kids. Got my butt kicked. Finished way down in the pack, but not DFL.

Heading out both days this weekend for some much needed conditioning and CX skills practice.

Ran 30 minutes on the treadmill then rode my bike out to the river.

9/1-- 200 - 3 = 197
9/2-- 197 - 12 = 186
9/5-- 186 - 17 = 169
9/6-- 169 - 3 = 166
9/7-- 166 - 4.75 = 161.25
9/8-- 161.25 - 6.50 = 154.75
9/9-- 154.75 - 11.25 = 143.5
9/11-- 141.5 - 25 = 118.50
9/12-- 118.5. -6.5 =112.00
9/13-- 112.0 - 10.0 = 102.0

81 miles in for the month. I am still taking it easy with my Achilles but I managed a quick 23 miles yesterday (17.8mph avg) without it protesting too much. I'm hoping that by the end of the month (weather permitting) I can get back into some intervals. Still want to do 500 miles this month and I will attempt a solo century this weekend or next.

1922 miles YTD.

I just don't like riding the roads around home with the rollercoasters. I can't get myself to go out on those, especially since finding all the fun roads to ride at work. Thus, drove to a trail I haven't been on in a while a little further away than the river trail on Sunday. Rode 16 miles. Breaks 100 for me for the month with still half the month to go.

Took in 15 miles of a wildlife management area today.
9/1-- 200 - 3 = 197
9/2-- 197 - 12 = 186
9/5-- 186 - 17 = 169
9/6-- 169 - 3 = 166
9/7-- 166 - 4.75 = 161.25
9/8-- 161.25 - 6.50 = 154.75
9/9-- 154.75 - 11.25 = 143.5
9/11-- 141.5 - 25 = 118.50
9/12-- 118.5. -6.5 =112.00
9/13-- 112.0 - 10.0 = 102.0
9/14 -- Hurt ankle on eliptical machine
9/15-- 102.0--15 = 87.2

500 fully-loaded, hilly miles between 9/6 and 9/14. Still working on the climbing figure, but I know it's over 21,000'.

Coming soon to a thread near you, but it was basically 9 days starting in Warren, OH and ending at my front door. Camped every night. Cooked dinner every night except one. Had two days of rain, with the second one being some 60 miles of riding in the rain. One flat. Sat in a chair with a back only three times. Never watched TV or used a computer. Never spent more than 20 min. or so in a structure with four walls and a roof. Nearly got dropped by two Amish buggies. The usual stuff.

Why bother posting my pathetic rides after Indyfabz posting....

Just took a quick jaunt out and back on the trail after work. Was going to turn around, but decided to go climb the bit of hill and ride back to the car on the roads. So, got a little of everything for a quick ride, flat, and moderate and shallow hill on the roads. Just 13 miles. It's a nice ride for a quick one as I ride 6 miles down the trail, 6 miles up and around on the roads, then about a mile on the trail again back to the car.

9/2 - 13 miles
9/4 - 23 miles
9/5 - 12 miles

9/8 - 15 miles
9/10 - 12 miles

9/14 - 16 miles
9/16 - 13 miles

Really fun night at the CX races. DJ booth was set up pumping AC/DC on the back side of the course, lots of beer hand ups, and wife and son dropped by with cowbells in hand to see me race.

Added 12 dusty, hot, heart-pounding fun miles last night to this months total bringing mileage for the month up to 306.
