Tyre advice - Continental Contact 2 vs Touring Plus

I've currently got Continental Touring Plus Reflex on my 29er mtb I have setup for commuting. I've been really happy with them, I think they're a good balance between rolling resistance, weight and durability, and I haven't had any punctures with them.

It's time to replace them and I'm tossing up whether to get them again or get the Continental Contact 2 Reflex for about half the price. My main concern is I don't want to sacrifice any puncture resistance, followed by durability and rolling resistance.

Any comments on the Continental Contact 2 Reflex and how it holds up? Happy to consider other tires as well, however I quite like the ones with the reflective strips for safety.

Thanks

Way back when I had one of the original Contacts, before they added all the qualifiers to multiple models. It lasted until I got tired of wrestling the dang thing off to fix a flat, 7,000 miles. Not sure how that beast compared to today's models, but I haven't bought another Contact (anything) since.

I have been commuting on 32mm Contact 2s for a couple years. I recently retired the rear tire, at ~5K miles, after a sudden string of flats (glass). Up until then, though, no flats. Note that I'm not heavy - about 180 lbs (82 kg), including the bike - which I assume affects longevity, so YMMV, of course. The reflective strips have been durable and are nice to have during the dark/wet months.
