Noticed that one of my LeBS' is selling this Swedish manufactured rear hub kit. Holy smokes, the price is $2850 for the motor/controller/battery system alone and it appears to offer a top speed of 20 mph in the US (25 kph in Europe). Acceleration of 0-20 mph in three seconds isn't bad. Anyone know anything about them?

Retry; they claim kit (including motor AFAICT) weighs 13 pounds. This company made most of the Mars rover motors. Very intriguing.
