My building won't allow me to charge on premises

Hey all,

I just started a new commute to my job and found out that building management won't allow me to charge my bike on the premises (I can't detach the battery or bring my bike up to my desk). I'd like to talk to them again but I need some help in coming up with arguments to support this. Without naming names, it's a fairly large building in a medium-sized city, housing very well-known brands.

What are some arguments I can use?

You can't bring your bike up to your room? Are you using Lifepo4 ? So does he allow people to charge their cellphone batteries? If you are using lifepo4, that's actually safer than a cellphone battery. I assume you have a ready-made e-bike like a bionx or a Trek and you can't detach the battery? Otherwise, why not just detach the battery from the frame and charge it in your room?

Yeah, the battery is stuck. :/ I'm gonna try to disassemble it when I have some time but for now I can't do much about it.

so,
they allow you to roll bike in to the building, right?
that is progress.
offer them to pay for charging some small amount, also argue - tens of cell phones charge everyday on every floor
ask them what is the problem? cost????

I can see them not wanting you to bring your bike to the desk. Once you figure out how to remove the battery I'd just bring it up and do it without asking.
