Bionx pl350 care and feeding
I've only owned this Bionx 350 36v for a few weeks and have enjoyed every min on this new dahon mup3 but I'm concerned exactly how to care for this expensive batt the doc's that came with it seems dated..didn't show the gen 2 controller?
How far should it be discharged before plugging in all things being equal.

If it's a Lithium Ion battery, than charge it up every time it gets below 50%... Probably after every ride.

exactely
simply charge it at EVERY opportunity
Of course you might so much charge still left.
In general the more shallow discharges are the longer battery will last , true for all chemistries.
Full discharge is a stress on battery chemical components

Hm, hadn't thought about this but good question. Does that go for SCIB batteries as well? It's in the LiOn class but has a different internal structure. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium...tanate_battery

Careful, the phone contact person at BionX told me I'd been recharging my battery correctly, then, my bike shop thought BionX was telling them I had not recharged it correctly and was responsible for the problem myself. Likewise on other things regarding use and care of the system; the advice seemed to be contradictory.
I found the manual to be oddly simplistic, and without a warranty registration card.
