Best mount for B&M Luxos U
This last winter I did quite a bit of riding at night, plus commuting to and from work. When the temperatures were below 20F, my light batteries didn't play well. I ended up bringing 3 lights with me if I was going to be riding for several hours. Hence the need for dynamo lighting. This is my first go at this, so excuse my 'denseness'. I'm about to buy a Kinesis Crosslight Pro6 frameset(Sick Green). It doesn't have a traditional place to mount a dynamo headlight. Since it's a disc only frame, there's no brake caliper mounting hole in fork or v-brake studs. The best solution I could find was a B&M headset spacer mount. Mounting Lights from Peter White Cycles
At first I was trying to find a mount to use with the fork crown bracket that was attached to the light. After a few minutes of searching I finally realized you don't mount to that. I'm assuming you take that off and mount to the threaded tab under the light. I guess the tab width is the same for B&M Luxos light and the mounting bracket has the same width between the eyelets. Is this the best option(since it's pretty close to fork crown level), or is their a better option like coming off of a Nitto 2 Lampholder bracket? If so, what extension bracket would work well. I would want to angle the extension bracket down close to fork crown level.

Perhaps the R&M bar mount would work. R&M Handlebar Headlight Bracket

I liked the look of Peter White's pictures of the Shimano Flightdeck handlebar mount. I'm happy with that setup on my Luxos-B.
