Benifits of Riding

For me, the only time something don't hurt is when I'm on my bike. Either on the road or MUP.

That's good to read that it brings some relief. Just stay on it forever!!!

I have to be in Sleep Stage 3 or on Propofol not to hurt. Have another Propofol next Thursday then again the following Tuesday. Hope something is used when FOLEY is removed 10 days later.

I ride on the weekends and go to work on monday feeling 30,, by mid week I feel 40ish, If I get to the woods for a quick ride I feel 30 again.
If not by friday afternoon I feel 50. I ride Saturday and feel 30 again.....

Life is good, the bike got me off all my meds and I dropped to an Ideal weight.. It's nice to feel 30 at 56...

Just sayin..

I suffered a fractured sacrum from a cycling accident, and now prolonged weight bearing while sitting, standing, and walking is uncomfortable, and gets worse with time, until I rest for the night. I often walk like an elderly man much older than my age, with two canes for distance.

Yet I can cycle comfortably for an extended time, I think because the weight is distributed away from the sacrum onto the sit bones. I’m most comfortable lying on my side. But that interferes with the activities of daily living.

However, don’t cry for me, Argentina; it’s just a new normal, and I can still do my other favorite activity, ballroom dancing. So when I'm on the road or the dance floor, I look much younger than I am. But since you asked…

I've removed many catheters and I've never felt any pain. (I've always been the nurse, not the patient.) Hope your procedure and the foley removal goes well.
