First ride since last November - about 8 km on the MUP. Will try the commute to work tomorrow.

Took the day off yesterday to help the wife paint the inside of the kitchen cabinets. 35 miles this morning with moderately high winds. Weren't these winds suppose to end at the end of March?

I did my first bike commute to my new job today, 14.1 miles in, 14.9 miles home because it was a slightly different route. It was grand.

Tom, that sucks about your CAAD 7 getting stolen on your first ride. Hope you can get it back even if its a long shot.

25.95 miles today, clouds are starting to roll in with the south wind's moisture off the Gulf ahead of this weekend's rain they are forecasting. Still a good ride.

Got LOST! Ended up riding 44 miles for the longest ride of the year and calling for a ride, just to pooped to finish. Winds were brutal. Good news is my body parts all OK this morning.

He! You should have just backtracked and ended up with 88 miles. Still, 44 is nothing to sneeze at.

44 miles at the MUP this morning. Nice and sunny and hot but the winds have been very strong all week long and today was no exception.

Windy here in NW Florida, too, strong and gusty SSW winds this afternoon. 27 miles in absolutely wonderful weather, it was in the mid 80's here and mostly sunny skies.

50 miles, 3250 feet of climbing. Of course 95% of the climbing came in 10 miles. We're having a bit of a cold spell with day time highs in the low 60's. The descent was a bit chilly.

Got cut short at 15 miles, took an early turn back home, by rain and a shift to a stiff north wind. Got thoroughly soaked and it was chilly from the winds evaporative effects, but I got in the short ride.

What are the wheels on it? Were they original to the bike?

20 miles - uneventful - BUT. County working on resurfacing roads in our area. My out and back route involved about one mile of gravel/sand/dirt on top of old asphalt. On way home I found the unpaved section had just been watered down. It was a muddy mess and I am ridding my brand new bike! No way around the mess so I rode as slow as I could dodging puddles and trying to ride the higher spots. It will be new unrideable chip seal by now.

Nice 42 mile charity ride this morning for vets and 1st responders. Started off quite foggy but it burned off fairly quickly and it turned into a beautiful day. Even the winds behaved themselves today.

We did another 30.5 miles on the tandem today. Temp about 51deg at start, predicted to turn out sunny. That didn't happen mostly. But it was a good day nevertheless.

First outside ride of the year.

I did 25 miles and the wind was wicked on the way back. Have to say the saddle was pretty comfortable fir the first ride.

27 miles this afternoon, cloudy with showers off and on the entire time, nothing worth stopping for though. Winds were NNW and kind of gusty with a cool edge to them, supposed to rain for the next few days here as the front backs up out of the Gulf.

Sunny and 50's this afternoon - 24 mostly-rural miles on the V3. The looong steel frame really smooths out the road.

Most of that spring snow melted but it was still sloppy out so I rode the steel bike with fenders. Taking it slow, I managed my first ride above 30 miles this season. The engine felt fine, but my calf/knee yelped a bunch towards the end. Still not sure if I'm on the road to recovery or perdition.
