I wonder if they are treated in such a manner to make them resistant to termites, fungus, powder beetles and woodworms? I know it can be treated for such pests. Maybe there's an additional charge.

I appreciate their initiative, but know I can pick up a titanium frame for about what one of their's cost. Now, if I could find someone that runs a class on building your own ti frame for the same money.....

I really like the idea of using bamboo and hemp for products. But unless the price of a bamboo bicycle drops considerably, it's going to remain a niche market.

Ti bikes might be cheaper if you could grow the tubing in your back yard?

Grow wierd stuff in your yard over here and you get a call from the drug squad.

It used to be possible to buy ready made lugs from Bike makers over here. I knew of someone that used them to make a space frame toy car for his son and he used the same glue that Raleigh used to stick their bikes together with. It fell apart after a couple of months.

My idea of being environmentally friendly is locking up carbon in my CF frame.
