The view from my saddle
This is what I saw as I biked past the harbor yesterday.......

Judging from the size of the guy on deck in the second photo, Columbus' ships were none too large. They must have been really packed in tightly when they left given all the water and other provisions they'd have to carry along. Twas a brave bunch which sailed over here and discovered this place for us.

They must have been really packed in tightly when they left given all the water and other provisions they'd have to carry along. Twas a brave bunch which sailed over here and discovered this place for us.

I rode by these on the Ohio at Louisville a couple of months ago. You can get pretty far on the inland waterways.
