Yeah - tracking mileage isn't important to some folks but to others, it's a good measurement. How's your mileage and are you happy with it?

5000km in 5 months. I want to get at least 10,000km into the year and the winter will be very cold so I have 5 months for the remainder. Should be quite doable.

I'll have a hard time hitting my usual 4000+ this year. Work requirements and hotter-than-usual weather has reduced my riding time.

Not happy at all. I'm averaging 330 miles a month compared to well over 500 last year. Worse yet is my average speed has dropped by at least 2 mph (per my Garmin) and the drop has occurred despite easier rides. I'm trying but have no idea what is happening to me. Well, actually I do. I'm getting older but the reduction in ability seems to be fast, makes me wonder if something else is up.

I am disappointed with my first half 1546 mileage. I know, I am still working full time and have family obligations, even at the ripe old age of 63, but I should still be doing better. So, my goal for the final 1/2 of 2012 is to average close to 400 miles a month and finish with something in the high 3000's. Oh, retirement cannot come soon enough.

2200 miles thus far - set of goal of 4000. That's quite OK. Not too many rides rained out for quite a while.
364 miles towards a tandem goal of 1000 for the year. Starting to pick up our mileage.

I am up to about 780 miles so far this year, about 325 of which was in June. I hope to hit at least 2000 miles this year, which is up from about 1500 last year, which was my first year riding.
I rode in a United Way ride here in Cleveland last week and got 88 miles in, then a ADA ride In Cuyahoga Falls yesterday let me get another 35 in before the hills took their toll. I was hoping to start July off right with 30 today, but I had a blow out a 1/2 mile from home and had to walk back. My spare was in the bike I rode yesterday. :-(
I really don't know how you all get so many miles in. You are amazing. I hope I can get as many miles in as you folks some day.

For May and June I think I've been averaging about 90 mi. a week. That's about twice as much as last year. So, I'm happy with where I am at this point.

Back in January I set a goal for the year of 1500 miles. As of June 30 I had put in 1529.89 miles. Wait,,,whut??
Hallelujah
I'm done for the year!!!
I guess the logical thing to do would be to assume that I can ride as much in the next six months as I did in the first six. ...so 3,000mi. must be my new goal for 2012. Head down! Cadence up!

Even more so...that's dedication!
Just over 2700 miles YTD and 541 miles in June. Typically, I only ride about 75 miles a week in so-called training - it's just too damn hot to ride too much so the June amount includes a 600 km brevet. My third 600 attempt this year and first completion.
Of the 2700 miles, about 1600 of those are event-related to centuries or brevets. I'm lucky...I can handle work with usually no more than 8 hrs a day, my "kid" is 24 and the wife offers only encouragement.

I'm not doing miles this year. I'm doing speed
And I am happy with the results thus far. PR's are being set nearly every time out.

I've been totally swamped at work this year so my mileage is down .. way down. I put on about 10 pounds over the (non) winter because I wasn't skiing as much as I usually do and I had very little time to even get on the bike this winter while I had it on the trainer. In other words, it's gotten past the point of ridiculous.
On the upside, my outings have been have been about 2mph faster, my hill climbing has improved considerably and I've been riding a lot more in the drops. My recovery time after climbing hills is a lot shorter and my overall heart rate is lower. I've also noticed that I'm much faster than last year when riding into a headwind. Maybe I'm doing something right for once.
Now I've I can get that extra weight off I'll be even happier.

I have 2810 on the road, and lot of commute miles
I had 751 in the month of April, then I had an injury, then another. May was 128, This month 300.
I'm going on a bike adventure soon, which will add some miles. Then I need to start taraining for a tough double century. Here's hoping I can stay injury free and focused.

2298 for this year so far. Hit 600 for June, my best month ever. My only goal is to just keep riding. 55 years old and going...

Not really very happy - about 1500 so far this year, including my commute miles. Been traveling about 50% of my time, so my goal of 100 miles per week got assassinated quite early on. Am ramping up pretty quickly now, hoping to hit 200 miles per week by the third week of August, but still short of what I wanted to have done.
Got a twinge in my lower back, so I am having to be CAREFUL to not blow my planned ride at Shasta in August. Going for a massage asap, maybe chiro. But hope to finish the year with about 4K, about double what I had last year since I won't be traveling so much.
In my mind, I have 5K as being the "ideal" for me, but that is now the goal for next year.

1227.27 miles so far, not including spin classes. Since I did not ride at all last year due to elbow/shoulder issues, I'm very happy with that number but I hope it is higher at this time next year.
