Here is a bike I just built from many donors. Wheels from a K2 Enemy, 600 components from a softride, frameset from Ebay, and dropbars/stem/shifters from a parts buy. I had just sold some Giant labeled Look pedals the week prior - darn. Rode her to work a week ago, not enough to decide on her fate. I'm used to compact cranks so the gearing threw me off.

Glad to see I'm not the only one with an "eBay bike parts" addiction. Nice looking bike.

Nice bike! I hope it turns out to be a good one for you. I'm still trying to decide if I like the bar tape.

I say give it a few more rides before determining it's fate. It just looks too darn nice to part with. BTW, who makes the bar-end shifters? I'm currently using the Silver shifters from Rivendell and want something that doesn't stick out quite so much.

Those are Ultegra 8 speed friction/index shifters (or maybe DuraAce). The modern ones are DuraAce 9 friction/index and look the same. They also have DA 10 speed index only in black.
I got them with a set of 600 parts, the stem, and drop bar on the Giant. Selling the 600 parts paid for the rest.

I have a set of DA 9 speed bar ends - email me.

I also like yellow. I'm wondering if others build up bikes because they have the pieces and then never ride them. I have two or three right now.
