Its great to see you looking good after the big scare you gave us, Fred. Glad that you had a 100+ mile day.

I once made a magazine cover too. This was when I owned the bike shop.
We laughed about the number two item on the list of cover teasers.

Been away from BF for a few weeks so just saw this. Here is one taken before the start of last years San Diego Bike the Bay. The one charity ride I do on my fixie. (only one hill-the Coronado Bridge-, and it happens early.)

It's the one of me that makes me look less fat than I am.

Ah, you're reminding me that I made the Adventure Cycling Tour Guide a couple of times .... 2009 and 2010, I think. Here is a thread where that's discussed.

https://www.bikeforums.net/touring/63...l#post10674744

One of those years, the photographer took a ground level pix of my fat arse as I was riding by ... I wonder where I have a copy of that.

I haven't had much time for posting or riding this summer. My last ride was in Ocean City, Maryland where we rented bikes one day. We had so much fun, we went back the next day and rented them again.

I've been busy helping my son and brand new daughter-in-law plan this:

A fun moment with my son before the big event:

Now, it is time to get back on the bike before it gets too cold!
