any1 know where i can buy this?

it is a rear luggage wheel bag that is attached to a bike. though, this would be good for camping trip.

from the pix, is that rear luggage bag specifically designed for the brompton or will it fit for any bike or folder? if it is designed specifically for the brompton, does any1 know any similar bag that work for any kind of bike. also is a quick release or not?

That particular trailer is called a "Carry Freedom" made by none other than my favorite folder manufacturer Pacific Cycles.

The load is way out from the mounting point and must be exerting horrible strain on the clamp that holds it all to the seat post. Empty - maybe, but fill those bags with gear and it is inviting collapse. Could be that there is some kind of vertical support out of sight to the rear frame as in a traditional luggage rack. I can't see and don't know how the mini is fixed for rear rack mounting points.

I found a used Burley trailer locally on craigslist for $40. Needed another $75 for the bike mounting kit, which was missing. Just over the weekend, I scored another trailer out by the trash. Needs some sewing to fix some detaching nylon, but I couldn't pass it up for free...

+1. I've seen people do this. Seems like a good cheap alternative.

I have a similar arrangement on my DT mini - posted a pic somewhere. THe reality is for me it is Ok for bulky but not too heavy stuff. If you put loads of say, beer and wine in holders on the rack, it swivels, and keeping the front wheel on the road is an issue. I don't have a rear rack mounting point, don't think Sammyb has either.

Sammy: when are you going to get them helmets in stock, btw?

Brompton?

vincentnyc

are you sure this is a Brompton?
IMO it looks like one but it isn't one.

Thanks. I see the max load is 20 pounds. That luggage in the picture up above would weigh that if it was filled with toilet tissues.
