nose-free saddles Do they work well with folding bikes?

nose-free saddles Do they work well with folding bikes?
At a bike repair shop where I am I was really impressed by the saddle and seat post (anither post coming) of one if the mechanics, which I just found out from his boss he has to mail order from Europe. I should have asked to take a photo and engaged him more in conversation. Bit he was being adjusting spokes for a Korean tourer.
Anyway, it is NOSELESS, a totally unsexy, unstreamlined, ugly piece of work. It was as if two pieces rather snub and I do not know if it is related the the back and forth suspension of. the seat post, but clearly health (no doubt men's health) and comfort were the goal not looking cool.
So, my question is do any of you guys and gals riding folding bikes, especially 16" ones or Brompton/Flamingo/MIT/Neobike etc use noseless saddles.
If not, why not?

why in the world would you use noseless unless you are riding a recumbent? riding noseless on the folder is no different from riding a noseless on a full size bike since the geometry of good bikes are very similar. in the end it wouldn't be good because you will lose alot of cornering control when you lean your bike on some fast turns.

... the saddle rail spacing is probably compatible . try it for yourself.. I never felt a need for them.

I rode with a fellow a couple of weeks ago that was using a noseless saddle, he seemed to love his. He said he's had it for well over a year, and never intends to use anything else. So you may wish to give it a try. IMO they would work as well on a folder as another bike.
