Brompton Saddle Adapter Pin - Who knew?
This is just a little rave for a little part.
I finally broke down and bought the Brompton Saddle Adapter pin. I had been thinking I needed it b/c I kept adjusting my position on my Brooks saddle on my Brompton as I rode it...I was sliding forward on the saddle, so I would have to adjust and move my butt back a tiny bit on the saddle every couple minutes. My saddle was level and comfortable, so I knew I had the angle correct, and I already had the saddle as close to the handlebars as the rails would allow...I just kept sliding forward. But I wasn't sure how an unglamorous 3" piece of metal tube could help that much.
Well, I received it on Thursday and boy did it make a huge difference!
I put the Saddle Adapter pin facing forward and attached my saddle on it (putting my saddle closer to the handlebars only ~0.75 inch than it previously was). Wow...my Brompton is so much more comfortable to ride! And no more adjusting in the saddle! I think this is the best mod I have made to my Brompton!
Happy times!

Good to know; I'm thinking of getting one to get more setback on a brooks saddle. This will be easier than changing out my stem. Plus I like the idea of being a bit farther back on the bike as it will help improve handling on my bike.
Edit: quick googling suggests that it won't be that easy to find in the US of A; a lot of British online vendors appear to sell it.

I think it might be easier, though, to simply use a breezed adaptor for a double rail saddle and then you can use a micro adjusting seat post to get more setback on a brooks double rail saddle . . .

then Buy another seat post to replace the upper portion..
BTW, Brompton Pentaclip is already a perfect step less micro angle adjusting saddle clip for Plain top seatposts.
