I want to build a separable frame with the same BB-bar clamp-saddle relationships as what`s on my commuter/tourer, but with 20" or 24" wheels. The small wheels are for ease of packing, but a possible added advantage would be that I could shorten the FC by as much as four inches before I started getting into any toe overlap. I think there might be some benefit to that since it could potentially give me just about any front to rear weight distribution I wanted with the same CS length I have on my Schwinn. Then again... I don`t know what the drawbacks are. Any comments?
