Clubs
Joined 2 cycle clubs this week. The Gainesville Cycle club and the North Florida Bicycle Club. Dont think I will have trouble finding grp finds anytime soon. Also registerd for the Biking thu Addiction that is on 19th of Sept and will b registering for the Endless Summer Watermelon Ride 13th Sept. Keeping my calander full.

Cycling clubs are awesome. I belong to Rocky Mountain Cycling Club. I find it keeps me more motivated to ride, and alot of the rides go places I wouldn't normally go, and distances I wouldn't go on my own. Don't be afraid to volunteer and be a ride starter/leader if they need one. They'll appreciate it and it keeps you on your toes. I've volunteered almost every weekend for the past two months to start a ride. I find that by being a ride starter I find I'm alot less likely to skip my workout rides during the week. I don't want to show up and not be able to finish a ride

Finished my first ride with the NFBC, only 24 mile but at a 15-18mph pace. I dont think i would have finished it if i was bu myself.
