It's only flat on the bottom....
I took my bike to work today and went for a lunchtime ride. Or at least that is what I intended. I got two flats, both rear punctures. The first was glass and the second was a nail.
So it was more like, ride a little, pump a lot, ride a little more and then just walk the last half mile back to the office.
Oh well. There just may be too much trash where I want to ride.
The weather is great though, 71 Deg and slightly overcast.
Maybe I should just sneak out and buy some new tires, d'ya think?

I hate getting multiple flats on a ride. I was riding my local loop and I flated As I was finishing the first loop (Trailhead). I say no problem I fix the flat and start the second loop. Bam I flated again no spare tube , no patch kit, no pump ( I borrowed a buddy's earlier). so I have to walk 3 miles to get out, That taught me my lesson, "Always make sure your the lead guy when riding with your buddy's IN CASE you get a flat"...

Yes, what tires do you have?
True, there is a lot of the trash in the roads around here. I ride through it all the time.
I recently upgraded my road bike tires to Continental Grand Prix 3000.
I found a deal on Vittoria Rubino Intrepid Kevlar tires and upgraded my commuter.
Haven't had any problems since.

I switched from the cheapo Continentals on my Bianchi to Specialized Turbo Armadillos, and haven't had a flat since...
