Who here rides a singlespeed?

In order to make the new Singlespeed forum a possiblity, we need to know how many people here actually ride singlespeed or are interested in buying / building one up. The more people who have, the better chance we'll create the forum.

Heres my vote right here. I own two. The two best decisions I ever made. That forum would be a great addition to an already great site.

I ride in one gear 95% of the time on my commuter and I'm building a SS MTB.

My main commuter ride has only one gear, usually fixed but sometimes free when I'm lazy or going on a very long ride. More than 100 miles and I like to be able to coast once in while.

Mine singlespeed/fixie road bike is my favorite and most used bike of 6. It's also about 25 years old (at least the frame).

Now surely you have 1 gear unless you are riding an ordinary (highwheeler).

Enjoy ...

Oh and how is the freeride forum going?

Oh and I don't ride a singlespeed. I really can't see why. I love gears in the back

I still say a sub DH. A sub SS maybe in the future. I am rarely wrong.

Another suggestion- a section for regional riding?

(trying to build up some brownie points here)
