Does anybody here ride a bicycle?

Just thought I would be the first (hopefully, for all that is good and sane) to ask such an obvious and stupid question.

I ride!

I have age and training to work to my advantage. The tables will turn one day.

A what? A bike! Oh man, I thought this was a motor-cycle forum! I guess I need to go somewhere else!

Almost 2700 posts, and I've been totally off subject! Sheez!

I've just had 4 days off the bike due to a trip for work.

It felt so good to climb aboard again this morning.

YES - I RIDE - AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE

pffft, no one rides bicycles, well... except kids -- bicycles are just toys... and what do kids know about anything anyway? Jump in the game for the big win, drive an Excursion!

My new bike will have a basket... maybe I can find a puppy to ride in it.

UGH!!! This is a bicycle forum!! I can't believe I've been hanging with you pimpled little girls for 4000+ posts!!!

It always suprises me that the motorcycle people who come here and get messed up always say we are either little kids, pimpled, or girls...When in reality, there are few kids here, and any girls here could kick those guys' butts..On a bike(a real bike that is) for sure.

I ride.

Do I ride a bicycle? Lets see, the last six months of winter really cut down on my cycling, last summer I worked in the bush didn’t bring my bike, the summer before I was working in different parts of Canada and didn’t have my bike with me, but I got in a one month tour, the summer before that I was working in Afghanistan and with the landmine problem there I thought it wise not to ride, the summer before that I was in one part of Canada and my bike was in another, but I did get in a two and a half month tour, and this summer I may work in the sub-artic and I am not sure if I can bring my bike or if there is a place to ride. But if I do go to the sub-arctic, I will definitely take the winter off and go on a long, long tour!

if I pedal a bicycle am I not proppelling or forcing the bike but if the bike does the pedaling and i do nothing then i would be "riding the bike" similiar to "riding the bus". so the answer to your question is NO, I do not ride a bike, I pedal it without mercy driving it in a forward direction as fast as my legs can move the thing. very few bike "riders" on this forum.

Ok, I'll fess up.....I DO ride a bike. My name is Steve and I'm a bike-a-holic. Maybe not very fast, maybe not gracefully, but, yes, I do ride a bike - often....(sob). Please don't judge me harshly. ( sob again ) ( sniff ).

I remember mentioning to an acquaintance that I'd just bought a great new bike after coming into some unexpected money. He said "How many cc's?"

"Huh? Uh, I don't know exactly. But it has two bottle cages and I guess they'd hold 1.5 lit of water.... "

Took me awhile to figure out that he was thinking about a motorcycle because no self-respecting man would buy a child's toy to ride around on!
