Is this a good deal? Bianchi Eros 98 going for $600?

Hi everyone,
I'm fairly new on the site, but have been looking for many great feedbacs and discussions.
I have came across to search my ride and the craiglist ad have attract my attention :
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/1619685096.html

As i hardly can find any other 98 Eros on the market for sale, I have no clue to compare the price with.

Just wanna check in with you guys to see any ideas if i shall go ahead and get this deal close.

Thanks!

I don't think its all that great. I just purchased a '06 for $420 dollars plus a pump and a better saddle (although one tire needs to be replaced sooner then later and the pedals some beater platform ones). So far I've bought two bikes of CL and both took over a few weeks to find. Just find the size you need and keep checking daily. You might find an incredible deal. Also don't get upset when dealers flake on the sale, it happens a lot.

:Edit: Not to hi-jack but did I get a good deal? I mean the paint is scratched and the bars need to be rewrapped. He changed the wheels form 700c to 650c (the front 20 and the rear a new 23).

Too much by half. This is a 11 year old bike that cost $1070 in 1998. $300 would still be steep. The Eros wasn't one of Bianchi's high end models either.
