TomTom One or Nuvi 255 for bicycle navigation

I have narrowed my search down to these 2.
1. Which one would you pick and why?
2. Do you use either of them?
3. Can I download routes from google maps or other map sites?
If I go this route, I will add a battery booster so battery is not an issue.
Both are under $100 and have street maps.
Thanks,
Tony

I wouldn't use either. They're designed for in-vehicle and aren't the least bit shock/weather resistant and their battery life sucks.

If you're trying to save $ then print maps instead.

Saving money is only part of the reason. Need voice prompts due to not being able to read the small screens on bicycle computers for navigation. When it beeps, can't see the arrow for direction changes. Will use paper maps for backup. The Nuvi has bicycle routing, hiking, car as options but don't know if can be downloaded with routes.
