The best way to improve your biking experience......
First remember........
"A human produces only 1/2 horse power of energy"
Yes, only 1/2 HP! This assumes that the rideR is in tip top shape riding a lightweight bike that's well tuned.
But I'd bet that 99.9% of all riders forget about tire PSI and rolling resistance of the tire. i.e. https://www.rouesartisanales.com/article-1503651.html and https://www.bccclub.org/documents/Tireinflation.pdf
So if that back tire squats when you get on better find an air pump since it's low and will add lots of drag for your 1/2 HP to overcome.

My buddy had a very nice Simonetti. He left it for me to tune up. Lubed the chain, tweaked a few spoke, tightened up the brakes a hair, and inflated the tires to 100 lbs.
Dude was blown away. He only had a frame pump. He sprung for a big pitcher of good beer on account.
Buy a damn floor pump, y'all

If your tires don't squat about 15%, then you have too much air in 'em!
