Larger frame, anything I can do other than short stem?
I have a road bike that doesn't fit me, it feels big and i'm not comfortable when I have my hands on brakes. Is there anything I can to besides stem (it's already short)?

You already know the right answer - get a bike that's the right size.
Add the cost of whatever "make due" measures you try onto the cost of the properly sized bike that you'll eventually want.

Most seatpost have some offset to the rear; depending on the clamp design you may be able to clamp the seat the other direction and turn the post so the offset is forward instead.

North road bars sweep out, then back. Porter bars would give more of the desired effect. H, J, or K bars would also work if you want flat bar controls.
If you want a really wild setup (which I think, from the response to butterfly bars, I think the OP would rather avoid) I've see a road bike with BMX bars, with the stem clamped to the cross bar, and bar-ends clamped low on the riser section as speed drops.

Hacksaw the frame to fit and use duct tape to reassemble or get a frame that fits.

There are answers like adjustable stem, downhill mtb stems, trekking handlebars etc (or just "buy a new bike that fits") and others that suggest to hacksaw the frame or grow some more.
Which type of answers you think is more valuable?
