I like that nasbar seems to be the place that has the more odd ball and nos stuff of all the big mail order places. For clothing I lean towards performance but lately Nashbar has won some of my cash with some good prices on odd parts, nos seat and a fixed hub.

Glad things worked out. Nashbar has been pretty good to me. I have a compulsive Nashbar habit. Saw the pic of your Kona in another thread. Nice. Pretty beefy frame.

if you have a buddy in the USA
have it shipped there and then have him ship it
depending on how bad they tax you and your exchange rate, etc. If you can get it sent as a gift you'd be good

That's key, hate importing stuff from the USA to Canada. You end up buying something like $200 and get whacked with an extra hundred in customs.

Gift sounds good. But if they open it... hmm.

Well I got a smoking deal or two at Nashbar last weekend but IMO the USPS sucks. Nashbar shipped my order on Monday (Sat internet order) which is all I could ask for, and I still don't have it.

Hey USPS WTF?!?!? it doesn't take 4-5 days to get from central OH to Central PA.
