Cool. Where did you pick them up?
I'm looking into a pair of 32h Rynolite rims laced to Deore M525 Disk hubs myself. I'm a skosh lighter than you though. These will be for thinner slicks and street riding. I have a pair of Sun BMF rims laced to Deore LX hubs for harder core riding.

well I was popping spokes weekly from general riding...I was just too rough on the wheel, the only weak point of the bike has been the rear wheel...and well yeah...I'm 450# and I"m not kind to my bike. After the accident my foot was slammed into my spokes again...breaking them up and bending quite a few. Fortunately the bikeshop had just finished building that wheel...I'm also having a set of Velocity Deep V 36H to XT hubs built for me.

And what hubs did you lace them to? I think you may have mentioned them a couple of days ago but I don't remember......
I picked up some 36 hole Mavic 519s that I'm gonna lace to some XTs... just gotta find some 36 hole XT hubs on clearance some place :-)

at the 40 spoke count you start to run out of options REAL quick...the rims/hub which is a Shimano Deore Hub was ordered through the LBS...You can buy the 36H rims on ebay, i saw a few sets the last time I looked. The XT Disc ISO hubs were like 90 bucks for the set on bikepartsusa.com I had to search to find a set of the 6 bolt versus that shimano rotor lock crap....

Freeriders who huck also buy them. Bender used one for a while (and busted it I might add)
If the kona mtb looks like it will fit I assume you are talking a stab which has a dowhill width 150mm dropout (which maybe they got from tandem, I really dont know)
