Specialized Sirrus Pro Carbon Disc 2016 vs. Specialized AWOL Elite 2015
My dilemma:
This past spring (2015) I purchased a Specialized AWOL Elite 2015 Touring Bike for my ten mile round trip commute to and from work -> Specialized AWOL Elite 2015 Touring Bike - Essential Gear for Adventure Cycle Touring
I was properly fitted for the bike and I have put in fifty to one hundred miles on it. Great. I was recently nearby the LBS that I purchased the AWOL from and decided to stop in to kill some time while waiting for my wife who was shopping at a store next door. As I was casually walking through the LBS I was thunder struck by the aesthetics, more upright riding position, and the lightweight of the Specialized Sirrus Pro Carbon Disc→ Specialized Bicycle Components
While I have been really enjoying my AWOL Elite, the Sirrus Pro Carbon Disc appeals to me even more, and now I am really struggling with the guilt I am feeling after having just purchased the AWOL, knowing fully well that I am living out the old saying that when the honeymoon ends, ebay and craig’s list will be there to catch my fall. Then its on to the next bike.
I would love to hear from you for no other reason than to compare features, color, frame materials, price etc. regarding a comparison of the two bikes would certainly be welcomed at this point before I post pictures of my AWOL to sell it.
Thanks for your time.

I would focus on trying to ride more before justifying another bike. 100 miles is nothing over a few months.

That aside, there's no real basis for any meaningful 'comparison' here. Two totally different bicycles in terms of materials, geometry, and design intentions. One is a lightweight full carbon flat-bar road bike. The other is a strong, tough, steel touring bike.

Okay, that settles it, I'm sticking to my AWOL and staying out of bike shops-- at least until I build up some tolerance against the new and flashy!
Thanks a million.
