2007 Specialized Sirrus - WSD

I have been looking at purchasing a bike for my daughter. She is on the very short side for a teen her age. I figured she would be fit a XS frame size (I am hoping so). I found a 2007 Specialized Sirrus for $150 on the local CList.

Your thoughts on this bike as something to start with?

Specs:

Thanks!

Looks like a nice bike to me. It doesn't appear to have been used very much going by the picture. Price seems good. But I would suggest having her try sitting on it first to make sure it is a fit. IF it doesn't fit her and you buy this, it could be a waste of money on something she won't ride.

I agree with you but the kids are older and its tough to convince them to do something "active". They rode bikes when they were younger but now I cannot get them to ride with me at all. I am also hoping to convince my wife to learn how to ride a bike...this bike will also work for her.
