Lightbulb What color crank should I get? Black or Silver

I decided to go back to a triple after having sworn by compact doubles for years. This is going to be a Deore FC-M590 9 speed 48-36-26T crank. I have the choice of black (with silver big ring) or silver (with black big ring).

Here are two horrible representations of what it could potentially look like. Which one looks better on my bike?

a) Black crank with silver big chainring

b) Silver crank with black big chainring

I think it's powder coated. Not the most premium looking finish. Both black and silver are a flat/satin finish. My bike colors are: clear coated brushed aluminum in the back and glossy black paint in the front. The RD is a 5600 105 which has a nice polished metal finish to it.

You can see better stock pictures of the crank here. The silver chainring on the black crank is a quite dark silver. Shimano Deore M590 9 Speed Triple Chainset | Chain Reaction Cycles

Shame it isn't available in all-black tho.

The thread didn't get the response I was hoping for. Perhaps due to my crappy pics or to the highly subjective matter. The result was 5:1 in favor of the black crank. Yesterday, I placed an order for the black crank. Thanks to all who voted. When it arrives and I install it, I'll post some pictures.

I'd opt for all silver, or silver crank arms.

Too late . At first I was more inclined towards the silver crank arms (all silver would be the best), but I remembered that I didn't like the appearance of the small and middle rings on the all-silver triple that originally came on the bike (fsa dyna drive) and on this deore, the small and middle rings being framed by the black outer ring call more attention. It kind of looks messy. On the black one, the inner and middle rings being black are more discrete.... Also after thinking about it for a while I thought that the the outer dark silver ring makes it for a smoother transition between the silver frame and black crank arm than silver frame - black big ring - silver crank arm... too much contrast going on. Anyhow, it's all super subjective. I'll see what it looks like when I receive it. Now, I just need to be patient as Brazilian customs can be insanely slow (and surprisingly expensive for that matter )
