Handlebars/Grips/Bar Ends for a 7.3 FX
I want to install some bar ends to my 2011 7.3 FX, but it is my understanding it is not possible with the handlebars/grips that comes stock... So I am looking for some recommendations for some handlebars/grips/bar ends that would be closely related to what is on there now.. Would it be possible to get all 3 of those for under $100? Lol

I have write up about it on my blog about replacing the handlebars on a 2011 Trek 7.5fx. https://bartsbiking.com/?p=510\
It cost me about 100$ total, but this was with the LBS doing the labor for free since it was a new bike and having the parts 10% off. Depending on your LBS id say your looking at 130 retail for the setup i have and installation.

Personally, I'm just going to keep the Isozone bars and make an insert for the bar and attach a bar-end to that. We will see how it goes

I like this idea a lot more than having to buy all new handlebars.. I do not see a purpose in having to buy all new handlebars and grips just for bar ends.. I mean, I want them.. but they are not that important... I wish I was more savvy in the art of diy projects =/ You think you could somehow help me out with this? Lol

Those are nice and i considered that option, but I wanted longer bar ends and i also wanted versatility in the future to switch out bar ends and grips separately.

The Leichtbau are nice units. If they can be used with the stock bars, looks like a good solution.

Not sure.. Obviously not to make money off of bar ends because they do not have any customized for their bikes... I asked them on their facebook group:
Me: Being that the ends of the handlebars do not allow for standard bar ends to be installed on the 2011 Trek FX series, are you all going to release some bar ends made specifically for this line of bikes?
Trek Bicycle: We're looking into the possibility but don't know for certain at this time.
To me that means: no.
