This chilly, nasty morning, it was Sugoi knickers under wind pants, and a wicking undershirt topped by a long-sleeved bike jersey and a waterproof/breathable shell, with Kona MTB gloves. In nicer weather, the same stuff minus the wind pants, undershirt and shell, or just MTB shorts and a wicking T-shirt.

For commuting, because of my short ride, I wear what I was gonna wear to school anyway. For rides around town, casual as well. For formal (like planned, for exercise/adventuring) rides, or races, I wear a bib and jersey. Basically both extremes. I find wearing a kit is awkward at first, but once you start to lose a bit of weight, or just get used to it, it's not that bad, and helps a bunch with on-bike comfort (particularly in the taint area), and for cyclocross, I have more freedom of movement for jumping on and off.

Commuting / city etc. just what governs the day.
In the mountain rides on both my hybrid and road bike, knicks and jersey. Winter mountain rides, the extra bits like arm-warmers, PI wind break socks, compression undershirt, beenie, cycling jacket, full gloves with inside liners. Newspapers are good too.

Going to get some cycling shoes soon. Once I lose my "1" pack I will consider some tighter fitting attire. =D

On my roadbike, just loosefitting gym shorts and a random t-shirt from the closet. For shoes, some basic Adidas running shoes.

All hybrid real estate is owned by a guy named Fred.
Fred usually wears whatever he feels like wearing, because he just cares that much...
