Hello from michigan
Hello! I live in central Michigan and I have been riding for just over a year now, i joined this forum because i was looking for some more knowledge about the sport. I started the sport with this random garage sale bike that i got from my dad. I had a close friend that had been into the sport for some time so he invited me to a local trail that he rides and i decided to go with him. It was one of the best times i have ever had in my life and i decided to buy a bike. I first got a used Trek 3700 and i road local trails in my area. I also have ten acres in northern Michigan in the middle of the woods and i ride on the various ATV trails we have up there. I decided i was ready for a new bike and i got a trek mamba and i upgraded almost everything on the bike except the fork. This included changing from tube to tubeless tires, upgrading the back derailleur, removing the front derailleur and gears and a putting a upgraded single front gear on to avoid having to change front gears and maintenance (as i found out maintaining all gears and frequently riding through with a wet climate is a difficult task), the rims, the grips, and the disk brakes. i hope to learn more about the sport and could use any helpful tips on how to become a better rider. Thanks!!!
