Introductions
I've used the information on these forums quite a bit, so I decided to join with the hope that I can give back.
I'm a dedicated bike commuter in Northern Illinois...my season will be ending in a couple of months with the onset of snow and ice. It's not the temperature that scares me off, it's the combination of black ice and road shoulders buried under snow mounds. Hitting some ice on the road and then becoming part of the grill of an SUV dampens my enthusiasm.
I hope to make some contributions and learn from you guys.
